The March edition of the 2026 Jumeirah Pairs series at Jumeirah Golf Estates provided golf fans and members with an unforgettable day of competitive excitement.

In a dramatic finish, Tom Stephenson and Tom Neale emerged victorious, edging the field on countback after an electrifying round of 62 to finish 11-under-par in the Pairs Scramble Tournament.

The leaderboard was tightly contested from the start, with multiple pairs posting top-tier scores. Stephenson and Neale’s combined gross of 62 ultimately proved decisive, showcasing the razor-thin margins that defined this month’s event and underscoring the competitive spirit at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

In the Gross Division, Max Cashmore and Louis Thorne fired a superb 62 (-10) to claim top honours. Meanwhile, the Net competition was just as intense, with Edward Martin and Jack Thompson finishing as runner-up on countback, narrowly ahead of Zak Taher and Kieran Casey, both completing rounds of net 62.

Reflecting on the event, Cameron McWhinnie, Assistant Golf Services Manager, said: “The Jumeirah Pairs continues to be one of our most enjoyable and competitive Member events, and this month’s edition certainly lived up to expectations.

“To see such high-quality scoring and multiple teams tied at the top is a testament to the strength of our Membership and the spirit of competition here at the Club. Congratulations to all our winners.”

Jumeirah Golf Estates remains one of the region’s premier golfing destinations, renowned for its championship courses and vibrant member calendar. Events like the Jumeirah Pairs are a key part of the Club’s commitment to delivering engaging and competitive experiences, further cementing its reputation as a leading golf community in the UAE.
