    Dubai World Cup 2026: Your ultimate guide to races, experiences and prices

    The roar of hooves, a parade of style statements, the buzz of world-class hospitality and the weight of $30.5 million on the line: The Dubai World Cup returns this weekend for a landmark 30th edition, promising a spectacle where sport, style and global prestige collide.

    This Saturday, the world’s finest horses, jockeys and trainers will descend on Meydan Racecourse, just as they have since the race was first staged in 1996.

    This year marks the 30th running of the Dubai World Cup. Defending champion Hit Show is set to return for the $12 million headline race, underlining the event’s continued ability to attract and crown world-class international contenders.

    But the Dubai World Cup has never been just about what happens on the track. From high fashion to world-class dining and vibrant social energy, the day unfolds as a full-scale celebration.

    When and where is the Dubai World Cup happening?

    The 2026 edition will take place on Saturday, March 28 at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai.

    How big is the prize money?

    A total of $30.5 million is on offer across nine elite races, including the $12 million Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airline.

    Is it only about horse racing?

    No. Beyond the races, the Dubai World Cup is a full-scale celebration of fashion, hospitality and social atmosphere, offering a day that blends sporting excellence with glamour, dining and entertainment.

    What is the Style Stakes?

    The Style Stakes, presented by Emaar, is a centrepiece of the raceday experience held at Apron Views. It celebrates elegance and individuality, with categories including Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Couple, Best Traditional Outfit and Best Hat.

    Prizes include Emirates Skywards Miles, Al Tayer Motors driving experiences, luxury fashion vouchers and exclusive Emaar gift cards, including $15,000 for Best Dressed Lady.

    The judging panel includes actress Mahira Abdelaziz, stylist Sarah Silsbury, milliner Evelynn McDermott, and Head of Hospitality at Emaar Hospitality Group Nicholas Bellaton.

    The Style Stakes is open to all ticket holders, excluding General Admission.

    What is Apron Views?

    Apron Views is the event’s vibrant social village and the location of the Style Stakes Arena. It features live music, DJs, roaming entertainment and food pop-ups from local favourites. Tickets are priced at Dh450.

    The Dubai World Cup offers a wide range of hospitality options, from refined fine dining to vibrant social brunches and exclusive private suites.

    Silks Restaurant by The MAINE (Level 4)

    Are there private or group options?

    Yes. Private Suites offer a fully serviced, exclusive space with panoramic track views, ideal for entertaining clients, family and friends in complete privacy. Packages start from Dh5,750 per person.

    Are there family-friendly options?

    Yes. The Gallery by BeMorethan offers prime finish-line views, live entertainment and diverse dining experiences, including dedicated children’s areas. Tickets are priced at Dh1,400.

    What are the key timings you need to know?

    • Parking opens: 12pm

    • Gates open and hospitality begins: 1.30pm

    • First race: 3.45pm

    • The UAE Tribute Interlude: 7.15pm

    • Dubai World Cup race: 8.45pm
