    Egypt’s international reserves hit record $57.2 bn in August

    CAIRO, 8th September, 2026 (WAM) –Egypt’s net international reserves climbed to an all-time high of nearly $57.2 billion at the end of August 2026, according to figures released by the Central Bank of Egypt.

    This reflects a 1.6 percent month-on-month increase of roughly $921 million from $56.3 billion recorded at July’s end.
